
Some of the most joyful and peaceful experiences can come from the most simple and ordinary aspects of our lives. Let’s not take these things for granted. Some examples:
Sniffing a fragrant flower
Singing and dancing like nobody’s watching
Seeing a plant grow tall and beautiful
Soaking up the sun’s warmth
A comfortable silence
Piggyback rides
Making a snow angel
Feeling seen and heard
Listening to the chorus of crickets at night
A power nap
Watching a flame dance
Receiving and giving a teddy-bear hug
Laughing so hard your abs hurts
Hearing waves crash onto a shore
Having a best friend
Crying out what you’ve been holding in
Daydreaming
Bright stars on a clear night
